That's unfortunate

Tuesday was the anniversary of the Hurricane Katrina tragedy. So while most people are taking a serious look at the tragedy and all that surrounds it, this is what has been on my mind all day:

Is Katrina and the Waves now the most unfortunate band name of all time?

You know the band, Walking on a Sunshine (I'm walking on sunshine, woooah and don't it feel good!!).

Am I a terrible person for even thinking about this?

Some other really unfortunate names:

I Am The World Trade Center: After 9/11 some people really wanted them to change their name. They toured under I Am The… for a while but eventually changed their name back, or toured under their full name.

Ryan Adams: People will be forever disappointed they didn’t just buy tickets to see Bryan Adams. He used to do this thing in concert where someone would scream “Summer of ‘69” and he’d flip out on stage and storm out. No one ever found it funny, but he kept doing it.

Bush: Wrong on many levels

Dogs Die in Hot Cars: A smaller indie band, you really have to question their judgment.

Bent by Matchbox 20: They released this album, but failed to realize its slang for being a homosexual in England. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but its not exactly going to boost your record sales.
